Mandela Day Common Good Campaign

This Mandela Day Say YES With Us

We're partnering with Common Good this July to support families in their first thousand days — the window that shapes a child's whole life.

Here's how you can help: over the next two Sundays (5 & 12 July), we're collecting grocery items at Cberg to fill food jars and hygiene packs. Once collected, everything comes together at Common Good, where volunteers from across Cape Town will assemble the packs before they're distributed through local partners reaching vulnerable families.

We need all items by Sunday, 12 July.

WHAT’S ON AT KIDS ROCK

Over the Holiday’s

Here's a helpful guide to what's happening at Kids Rock over the July holidays:

28 June & 19 July — Holiday Sundays
Kids will join their families for worship before heading out to a special holiday programme. Two great mornings to look forward to. Shift will remain in the meeting!

5 & 12 July — No Kids Rock or Shift
Please note there are no Kids Rock or Shift programmes on these two Sundays. Families are warmly welcome to enjoy the full meeting together.

Term 3: Giant Faith

Hebrews 11:1-2 Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. This is what the ancients were commended for.

What does giant faith look like? Is it never being scared? Always getting it right? Or having the biggest muscles?

This term we're discovering that giant faith isn't about having a giant-sized confidence in ourselves—it's about trusting our great God.

We'll journey through some amazing stories in the Old Testament as God rescues His people, tears down impossible walls, uses unlikely heroes, and keeps every promise He makes. From the Exodus to Jericho, from Gideon to Samson, we'll see that even ordinary people can trust an extraordinary God.

Join us as we discover that when God is with us, we can trust Him in every challenge because our God is always bigger than our fears.
